The Roles of Tea in Life and Around the World

Tea is close to my heart as a Sri Lankan myself. Good old black tea with milk and sugar twice a day in the morning and afternoon is family time beverage at home even today. Apart from black tea, my other favorites are lime tea, berry tea ( my own version of black tea brewed with black berries and strawberries and little cinnamon) and sage tea ( again Earle grey with a dried leaf of Sage). Perfect for cloudy days like today. Sending you little bit more about tea around the world for your soul. The Roles of Tea in Life and Around the World

6 food items not to miss when in Sri Lanka I couldn’t agree more. Reading this brought back so many fond memories. I would also add, Kiribati ( rice cooked in coconut milk with Tuna ambul, lunu miris ( onion and red chili Sambol made in mortar and pastel), Polos curry ( baby jackfruit cooked in roasted curry seasoning), koa mallum. And of course wood apple smoothie. You would have had most amazing food tours you will ever do in Sri Lanka.

Strawberry & Mint Crostini

I made these super colourful (and a little Christmassy looking) crostini. They are quite simple to prepare and are the perfect little appetizer or snack.” Strawberry & Mint Crostini
