
Let me something for the Monday night. This one is among my favorite. Jackfruit is a big part of Sri Lankan cuisine. Prepared by either simmering with spices for long time, sambol mallum or a fry, it brings so much flavor to rice and curry meal. When I saw this recipe by Minoli de Silva , it was a perfect read for a hot summer night

I’ve read about jackfruit but never had a chance to try it.
I love young jackfruit out of all. Simmered in spices it taste like pork. If not better.
